Thinking of changing to a Sugar-Free Diet?

Excessive sugar intake can be really harmful to your health and can control you. Some studies have shown sugar to be more addictive than drugs (e.g cocaine and nicotine) and in general, with our daily life routine, the best example I can think of is the energy drink.

Disadvantages of excessive sugar intake

  1. Highly addictive.

  2. Has also been linked to mood disorders, obesity, diabetes, and other serious metabolic disorders.

It may seem like a struggle

to go sugar-free at first (and it can be!), but it will get easier. Experiment with the tips included in this article and you’re much more likely to beat the sugar blues without going crazy. We often come to a point where we need to make some serious decisions for our health when it comes to a diet.

Why do we need to change our diet to sugar-free?

We may have asked this question to ourselves right? There can be much reason for choosing a sugar-free diet,

You may simply want to lose weight or slim your waistline.

  1. You may be living with a disease (e.g diabetes), that requires you to bring down your sugar intake.

  2. You may want to maintain your health and stay away from the toxic full of sugar (e.g soda drinks).

Bringing down our sugar intake is not always as easy as it sounds. Without treats and comfort foods, you may feel like you’re depriving yourself. And it may seem like only a teaspoon in your coffee, but these small amounts add up, I know it is not easy to change our dieting habit into a totally different lifestyle particularly without sugar but here is the good news is that there are more substitutes than ever which means we can treat ourselves without any fear by having sugar free sweets

The fact is with healthy eating is better for you and lower your risk of some disease of some diseases, These include heart disease, diabetes, obesity.
